Someone called the other day asking about one Alaska cruise itinerary, and by changing to a similar cruise on a different ship in the same cruise line, I saved him over $1000. Others frequently have received complimentary upgrades or hundreds of dollars off after depositing their trip with me.
I'm surprised when some of these same people phone me a year later to say they booked a trip through some other agency or directly with the cruise line in the interim and only now appreciate the personal service they received from me on a previous trip.
