Hot News for the Single Traveler

Imagine a boutique hotel that caters to singles. Rooms are small, but functional, with a full sized bed and a chic, Soho feel. One-way windows allow you to see who is outside without giving up privacy.

Your room key also accesses a private club, accessible only to other Studio guests. Go for morning coffee, maybe a little lunch, and cocktails before dinner, mingling with other singles who, like you, opted for the Studio life.

But of course, you're not trapped there. You can go out on the town. Enjoy a delicious meal at the classy Manhattan Dining Room included with your room charge, or for a few dollars more, go to a teppanyaki grill or opulent steak house. A night on the town is on the house, whether you take in the Blue Man Group, a magic show, Second City Comedy or full stage production show. If you like, just mellow out in a jazz club or dance the night away to the hottest club sounds. Better yet, do it all.

Then, when you wake up in the morning, be amazed at what you will find a few steps away: one of the great world ports waiting for you and your new best friend to enjoy together.

As SNL's Stefon would say, if you want all this, look no further than Norwegian Epic.

Norwegian Cruise Lines, as you've probably heard me say before, has always been one of the most innovative cruise lines. In fact, they essentially invented destination cruising in the Caribbean in the 1960s.

With their new Epic Studios, they may have just started the next big trend in cruising.  If you've been wanting to cruise but can't find someone to go with, why not find your new best friend...or signifcant other...aboard Norwegian Epic.
