St. George's to Hamilton: July, 2000

Our itinerary on Pacific Princess visited three ports in Bermuda, but many cruises visit one or two ports. The truth of the matter is that you don't need to cruise between ports, and some people on multiple-port Bermuda cruises forego the trip between ports onboard and just catch up at the next port.

However, we enjoyed cruising through the beautiful water and viewing the lovely coastlines with their pastel-painted houses and lush greenery.

In many ways, cruising between the ports feels more like an hour or two on a friend's boat at a picturesque marina.

When the ship arrived in our second port, Hamilton, we docked right next to the cosmopolitan downtown packed full of chic shops and wonderful restaurants.

The city streets of Hamilton are still only a short ride away from terrific beaches. From the gold jewelry worn by the bus drivers to the more fashionable attire of the populace, you can't help but notice that Bermuda's citizenry seems wealthier than the average Caribbean port.
Rather than spending time shopping in Hamilton, we used the excellent public bus system to visit more of the gorgeous beaches.
