Redondo Beach is a great place to visit on your way to a cruise. |
Time flies when you're having fun, and that's always easier when you're under a warm sun.
While we're blessed to have a pleasant climate year-round in Southern California, bodies of water from pools to rivers to lakes to the ocean cool down as we move into winter.
Ensenada Harbor Offers Sunny Pool Days. |
We may have control over pool temperatures, but apartments and condos tend to turn off their pool heaters on Labor Day, and backyard pools usually follow suit, simply because heating that much water for shorter days gets costly.
Do you wish summer could carry on year round?
Lucky you! It does.
Yes, California still has mostly sunny weather that most people would call ideal, but if you want those hotter days and warmer waters of summer, you can board a cruise ship on a voyage to latitudes closer to the equator.

In addition to other lines offering 7 to 11 night cruises to the Mexican Riviera from Los Angeles or San Diego, beautiful Princess ships will take shorter cruises that add Catalina, Santa Barbara or San Diego to Ensenada on warm and welcoming ships.

But did you know you can also go all the way to the tropical islands of Hawaii without boarding a plane?
In fact, you can even board a cruise that takes you all the way to the South Pacific, where you can visit dream destinations of Bora Bora, Tahiti and Moorea, with stops in Hawaii on the way. You heard right. You can visit destinations over 4,000 miles across the sea without boarding an airplane.
Other cruises take you one way through the Panama Canal, clear around the Cape of South America or to New Zealand and Australia.

And don't forget that our own wonderful state is a great place to explore courtesy of roundtrip West Coast sailings up to San Francisco or one way wine cruises between Vancouver and Los Angeles/San Diego during the shoulders of the Alaska season.
Wherever you want to go, remember better service leads to better trips!
