Why Should You Choose Carnival Cruises?

You're a fun loving person. 

Hearing loud laughter and seeing spontaneous dancers by the pool make you want to join in.

Perhaps you're single or young lovers who want to party until the wee hours.

Or maybe you've progressed to the next stage, started a family and want to share your fun loving spirit with your children.

In any case, you still need to watch your budget.

It sounds like Carnival is just right for you.

Carnival consistently delivers fun in the sun in either the Caribbean or Mexico at affordable rates, but they also cruise Alaska in the summer as well as some other assorted destinations.  It is the fact they have the largest year-round deployment in the Caribbean that reveals where their heart is.

The dazzling onboard entertainment appeals to the young and young at heart.  The music will usually rock at high decibels, but there's also some great jazz and blues venues.  The production shows are flashy, and the energetic crowds are all too ready to get on their feet to dance along when encouraged.

Casual dining choices like pizza or burgers and fries by the pool, finished off with fresh baked cookies or ice cream might be exactly what you desire.  The dining room fare may not be what you'd find at Fleming's Steakhouse, but if you'd rather go to Denny's anyway, then you'll love Carnival food.

The décor isn't usually something you'd expect to see in Architectural Digest.  In fact, if real estate e-magazine Curbed ever took to the cruise world (Docked?), they would wear out the keys for H-I-D-E-O-U-S. 

That's not to say that it is actually terrible.  Curbed uses that term for multi-million dollar mansions that seem beautiful to me.  However, if one palm tree would be good, then three palm trees, with Christmas lights, would be how Carnival would do it.  Nothing is subtle on Carnival, except in the private confines of the rather roomy staterooms, which are rather bland, once you get beyond the usual orange hue that seems to frequently be present.

And the main point is that the rooms are comfortably laid out.  It will  bring a smile to your face when you return to your room after a night on the town and find a cleverly made towel animal to greet you.

But wait.

What if that doesn't describe what you like?

Then again, sometimes there really is not a good substitute to fit your needs.  I've had some women's church groups choose Carnival for their annual meetings. 

At first glance, Carnival didn't seem to be the right choice, but based on their time frames and budgetary concerns, it is what they selected, and they enjoyed wonderful retreats, experiencing the world of Carnival in their own unique ways.  You don't have to rock and roll all night to enjoy Carnival. 

Then again, now Princess, Celebrity, Royal Caribbean and others have introduced more three to five night cruises to meet Carnival in that niche, giving greater flexibility of options than even a year ago.

For some people, however, Carnival remains the first choice.  Maybe you're one of those fun lovers.
