Living On A Cruise Ship?

Since our youngest daughter Amy moved east to attend the University of Connecticut, Julie has said we need to downsize.  Last year, we went so far as to put our house on the market, but just as our house hit the MLS, so did dozens of others.  Ours remained unsold.

This year, Manhattan Beach real estate, particularly houses in The Trees where we lived, became red hot, and our agent Denise contacted us.  We let her show our house to a few clients one Sunday, and within three days had three full price offers.  To make a long story short, we sold the house and moved to a condo in Redondo.

While our new home is half the size, it feels very much like being on a cruise.  We have a nice ocean view off our small balcony, and while we gave lots of possessions to charities, we still have more than we need for a month long cruise, and during our Australia/New Zealand/South Pacific cruise, we learned that was really about all we needed.

If I've missed your calls in the interim, I apologize.  We still have challenges with the telecommunications portion of the relocation, but we're getting there.  In addition, my baby daughter Amy came home for a week, after spending the summer as a paid Copy Editor for the New York Times and before returning to the Big Apple in hopes of landing a job as a magazine Associate Editor or similar position.

We still plan to travel to exciting new destinations, and based on the fact that we bought a place very much like a cruise ship, I hope you recognize the passion I have for travel and allow me to help you with your future needs.

Better service leads to better trips!

Through travel I first became aware of the outside world; it was through travel that I found my own introspective way into becoming a part of it.
