Do you want to be a Tour Guide?

In a survey that ranked 300 potential professions, Tour Guide ranked seventh in desirability. Specifically among women, it ranked second.

Perhaps you also think traveling the world and sharing what you know would be an ideal way to earn a living.
I know my wife likes nothing more than thoroughly researching every aspect of a trip and then following through on the voyage. She definitely has other necessary traits like being decisive and well organized.

My old buddy Mike loves to show people a good time. He genuinely likes everyone, and he's enthusiastic about sharing things he enjoys. Again, these are great traits for a Tour Guide.

However, it's hard to have a home life or build a significant financial future if you spend all your time at sea or on the road, no matter how much you may enjoy the lifestyle.

If you could be a Tour Guide just a few weeks every year, how would that sound?

No one gets rich being a Tour Guide, but you may be able to make money the next time you go on vacation. How?
As you probably know, I am a travel consultant who primarily specializes in cruises. I know the ins and outs of researching cruises and land tours, making reservations and planning for groups. While many people tell me they'd love to be a travel agent, most wouldn't particularly like dealing with the mundane elements of booking trips, which aren't much different from those in any office environment, except with generally lower pay.

Instead of chucking a job where you enjoy a great paycheck and excellent benefits (or even those regular unemployment checks), why not let me be the back office for your travel adventures as a Tour Guide?

If you're someone who already regularly travels with your own entourage of friends, then you already have the start of your first group. If you're a musician or chef with a true fan base, so much the better.

While I can help you set up a totally independent tour with your own itinerary, most people have found that it is easier to bring a sub-group into a previously established tour or resort package, possibly putting a few extra activities just for your followers.

One of the most sure-fire bets for your group having a great time is with a cruise, adding special events and group shore excursions. Whatever you want to do, however, I can help you become a Tour Guide. E-mail me (Wes@CruisePlanners1.com) to get started.

We'll customize the approach for you and your group, with private party space, special gift bags or whatever you want to include. Plus, we can set up the follow-up trip for you to present at the end of this trip, so you can multiply your success. Each successive trip tends to be bigger than the prior one, if everyone has a great time with you.
