Is It Your Destiny to Win?

I always assume everyone knows that most cruise ships have casinos onboard. About the only exceptions are NCL America's Pride of America, which stays in Hawaiian waters where gambling is illegal, and Disney Cruise Lines.

Recognizing the growing popularity of Texas Hold 'Em Tournaments on television and online, cruise lines started holding poker tournaments on their ships for guests. This year, Carnival has held a series of PokerPro Satellite Tournaments from which winners can advance to CARNIVAL'S POKERPRO GRAND FINAL PLAYOFF GAME on January 29 aboard Carnival Destiny.

The cruise itself, which visits Jamaica and Grand Cayman on a 5 night itinerary from Miami, should be terrific. Onboard, you're sure to have lots more fun, with delicious meals, exciting nightclubs and sensational entertainment that will literally have you on your feet. Need a workout? There are pools, jogging track, basketball, spa...you name it. And, of course, there's a casino with slots, video poker, live blackjack, roulette, craps and more. In other words, you don't have to enter the tournament to have fun.

However, what could cap the cruise off better than playing in a big poker tournament at sea? I know, you probably didn't even play in one of the Satellite games, so how can you get a seat at the big game? Carnival is allowing anyone who takes the January 29 cruise to pay $750 for a seat in the tournament, until it fills. If you want to get in on the action, don't delay.

CruisePlanners1.com anticipates a lot of people will want to take advantage of this opportunity, so we held Group Space on Carnival Destiny embarking 1/29/11. The rates are bargain priced, with inside Category 4C rooms rooms starting at just $309 per person based on double occupancy. Ocean view 6B rooms are only $60 per person more, but why not go in style with a Category 8C balcony starting at just $489 per person? Note these are not the worst rooms on the ship but already have been upgraded to preferred ship locations. Just for you, we've added $25 onboard credit and a bottle of wine for each room booked through us.

This is the perfect excuse for a cruise with old friends. Maybe you'll cheer on the best poker player among you, or maybe you'd like to have a little King of the Hill among your own group of friends to see who goes the furthest in the tournament. With that kind of motivation spurring you on, one of you just might win!
