Where Will You Be For Spring Break?

One of the best places to spend Spring Break is on a tropical cruise.

You enjoy sunny days snorkeling in warm turquoise water by sandy beaches, and then return home to your floating resort, where a great restaurant always has a table waiting for you and a night time full of amazing entertainment also awaits. Your days in port are balanced by sea days on board enjoying spectacular ship amenities.

You have more chances to start a tropical cruise close to home in spring than in summer, when most cruise ships head to Europe and Alaska.

For Southern Californians, there are several great Mexican Riviera cruises available. How about ten nights from San Diego on Radiance of the Seas? It not only includes the traditional Mexican Riviera ports of Cabo, Puerto Vallarta and Mazatlan found on seven night cruises that embark weekly on several lines, but the bonus ports of Acapulco and Ixtapa.

Hawaii also beckons. Fly to Honolulu and catch the Pride of America, a US flagged cruise ship that spends a week visiting the Hawaiian Islands on a terrific itinerary.

If you have two weeks, you can cruise roundtrip to Hawaii from Los Angeles or San Diego. A few ships will also begin repositioning to Alaska with one way cruises to the Hawaiian Islands.

West Coasters aren't the only ones with Spring Break cruises embarking from close to home. We'll get to some more in the next post.
