123 Go!

Celebrity is bringing back it's best promo ever for one month starting today!

Imagine spending the day exploring some glorious European port and returning "home" to your floating resort where you're treated like a Celebrity.

Now, imagine the last night of the cruise (wow, where did the time go?). When you look at your final bill for your bar tab (for most beer, wine, other standard spirits and beverages) and gratuities for your room steward and restaurant waitstaff, you find the total amount is ZERO!!  My buddy Mike says he keeps his eyes closed when he opens the bill, but even he would open them and smile to see those amounts zeroed out.  Of course, there's still the fee for the alternative dining experience of Qsine, and maybe some souvenirs like T-shirts and jewelry, but those amounts look smaller with the big two items off the bill. And, if you're someone who doesn't drink alcohol, you could have selected the onboard credit and zeroed out a few other incidental choices.

You get the point.  For any ocean view room or better on any Celebrity cruise departing between June of 2013 through March of 2014, you can have your choice of free gratuities or free  Classic Beverage package for two as long as you book through me in an ocean view room between March 15 and April 15.  Or, if you would prefer, get onboard credit of $100 for a 3 to 5 night cruise, $200 for a 6 to 9 night cruise or $300 for a 10-night or longer cruise.  It's as easy as 123 Go!

But wait, you're saying.  Wes said free drinks and free gratuities.  That's right.  For Europe, you can choose any two of those three options.

This is a great time to lock in the best possible stateroom for a dream cruise on Celebrity Cruises. The memories will last the rest of your life.  It's time to 123 Go!

Why Should You Choose Celebrity Cruises?

On the gorgeous Celebrity ships which epitomize Modern Luxury, you can expect outstanding dining, anticipatory service and palatial spas.

For sophisticated adults with gourmet palates who appreciate subtle nuances of dishes served with loving care in an upscale dining environment nightly, Celebrity is an obvious choice, but Celebrity also does a wonderful job with families who enjoy the finer things in life.

Celebrity has recently stepped up efforts to reach out to families, with the exciting development of an enhancement for their popular 123 Go! promotion in effect until February 28, 2014.

As during last year's 123 Go!, first and second guests enjoy their choice of either complimentary gratuities, Classic Drink Package or onboard credit, with European cruises including a choice of two of those great amenities.

This year, Celebrity welcomes families by offering third and fourth guests two great amenities.

They receive the Classic Non-Alcoholic Beverage Package, valued at $16.10 per person per day. That means they never have to come to mom and dad to ask for a Coke.

They each get 38 minutes of internet time of their own, too. It's not enough time for them to waste their incredible vacation online, but it gives them a chance to tweet about their trip every few of days or quickly check facebook now and then.

So, in addition to an upscale large cruise ship experience for essentially the same price as mainstream cruises, right now you can look at your final bill at the end of the cruise and see these totals:

Gratuities for hard working room stewards and wait staff for Passengers 1 and 2: $0.00

Classic beer, wine and well drinks for passengers 1 and 2: $0.00

Sodas for kids: $0.00

Internet charge for 38 minutes of tweets and facebook time: $0.00

If you're someone who doesn't cruise because your bar tab is greater than the price of the cruise, this promo is obviously for you, but even if you simply enjoy several sodas a day, this would be the right configuration.

However, if you are someone who is fine with standard complimentary offerings like water, coffee, juice and milk, you can opt for free onboard credit instead of the beverage package, with $100 for 3 to 5 night cruises, $200 for 6 to 9 night cruises, and $300 for all cruises 10 nights and longer.

Fine print: the choice of two amenities for first and second guests under 1,2, 3 Go! applies only in Europe, with the choice of one of the three for other destinations, and you must book in an ocean view category or higher.

If the idea of getting a bit more dressed up than board shorts and tee shirts doesn't scare you off, then you should consider Celebrity Cruises.

But don't wait too long.  It's time to 1,2, 3 Go!

Better service leads to better trips!

Find your passport and pass the Strawberry Fields Forever

"Do you know where our passports are?"

Good question.  When my wife asked, I assured her they were in the blue Windstar pouch where we've kept them for more than 8 years.

However, having moved a few months ago, the pouch was placed on a shelf behind some other stuff I rarely use, and if I had not looked for it yesterday, I can imagine a scenario of panic the night before the cruise where the rush of finding it could cause me to miss seeing it.

I've had phone calls from clients in that fix.  I have been able to calmly help them think it through and resolve the problem in all but one case, and that person missed the cruise, but it is easier to think methodically without the pressure of a fast approaching time limit.

Remember that your passport is representative of your freedom.  Make sure you know where it is.  And if you don't have one, start the process of getting one, and then you can have Strawberry Fields Forever.

I'm not talking about the dreamlike Beatles song.  I'm talking about dessert at Qsine, Celebrity's cutting edge restaurant which was the first in the world to use iPads for menus.  Do you want a cocktail?  Pick the liquors you want to combine on your iPad screen, add them to your virtual shaker, and then shake your iPad.  While you practice this seeming nonsense, a mixologist behind the bar will make the real concoction for your imbibing pleasure.

Yada yada yada...a great meal as you've come to expect on Celebrity, and then it's time for dessert.  Strawberry Fields Forever is one choice: chocolate covered strawberries on stems "growing" from a plot of real grass.  And quite delicious (you don't eat the grass unless you're more bovine than most cruisers).

Anyway, you get the point.  For ANY Celebrity cruise departing between February of 2013 and April of 2014, you can have your choice of free gratuities or free  Classic Beverage package for two as long as you book through me in an ocean view room between January 7 and January 27.

Free Gratuities On Royal Caribbean and Other Sales

Solarium Pool Area on Jewel of the Seas
Right now, CruisePlanners1.com provides complimentary gratuities on any ocean view or better room on Royal Caribbean cruises of 5 nights or longer departing between December 1, 2013, and June 30, 2014.

While tips on cruises may be optional, none of us want to stiff those great servers in the dining room or the room stewards who help us enjoy a terrific cruise.  However, we also don't particularly look forward to seeing those gratuities on our bill at the end of a cruise.

Dolphinaris in Cozumel
Cruise Planners will pay standard gratuities for you on select cruises, so your final bill will be zip for those tips.*

You must deposit your room by December 1, 2013, to take advantage of THIS promotion.

You may have noted that I don't promote special deals too often.  That's because they change and may confuse customers who book outside of that sale window, but sometimes I need to mention them just so you know that I do have them.

More sales will be coming down the road, like this year's version of Celebrity's 123 Go!

Atrium on Navigator of the Seas
While you can book on line at http://www.CruisePlanners1.com to take advantage of any of our great promotions, contacting me personally will allow me to share what sales I may see on the horizon as well as pinpoint the best deal for you.

I sell every cruise line, and my primary objective is to get you on the best cruise for you personally at the best possible value for your vacation dollar.

Better service leads to better trips!

*Tips on beverage purchases are not included.
