Thank you, Steve Jobs

With the passing of Steve Jobs, we should once again take a moment to reflect on what our lives really are: miracles unfolding daily.  I posted his commencement speech from a few years back at the top.  Steve's death brings greater poignancy to his words.

Until we face the fact that our time on earth is limited, we are tempted to put off for tomorrow what we could do today.  We blow off small moments as if we could kill time without damaging eternity.

Regardless of what you believe will happen after you depart this earthly plane, and philosophically the argument might be made that it may be a self-fulfilling prophecy, you have this moment in time here.

Not long after Steve Jobs passed away, a baby named Kai was born, the new grandson to my old friend Pete and the child to his son Andrew.  I consider that a vote of confidence by God to carry on.

Enjoy the journey.
